PT Travel: Svalbard Autumn Light - Sep 2019

Svalbard

From 03/09/2019 to 13/09/2019

The main subjects on this Autumn Light Svalbard photo tour will be wildlife and landscapes in stunning late-season light. Svalbard is the best place on earth to photograph Polar Bears, and we hope to find some of them in the best light available. The ice situation at this time of year usually also allows us to explore the north-eastern parts of the archipelago, making this a very special Svalbard photo tour.

September is a great time for watching and photographing big whales, and we have good chances of finding Blue Whale, Fin Whale, Humpback Whale, Minke Whale, Beluga and the White-beaked Dolphins. The light conditions are great at this time of year, so get ready for some stunning wildlife photography. This is the Svalbard photo tour for nature photographers focusing on a great light. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

As usual on all our Svalbard photo tours we will schedule longer stops than normal tourist cruises, when going ashore, in order to provide participants with enough time to get excellent pictures. We use 2 zodiac boats to get ashore or when searching for the wildlife at sea.
