Masai Mara situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. This is an incredible eco-systems and possibly the world’s best safari big game viewing experience. Made famous by the abundance of the big cats like Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Masai people, well known for their distinctive customs and dress.
Safaris to the Masai Mara are without a doubt among the best you ever get. To get the best out of your safari, opt for at least a seven day duration. The Masai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in world and this is where over TWO MILLION Wildebeests, Zebras and Thomsons Gazelles migrate annually.
Masai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and lies at 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds.
DAY 1
NAIROBI – MASAI MARA
Meet on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi
Depart for Masai Mara (5-6 hours drive).
Check in to the camp inside the forest and have lunch.
Evening Safari.
Return to resort. Dinner
